Why we started
Finding a match used to happen through relatives, purohits and word of mouth. That trust is hard to recreate online, where profiles are often unverified and families are left out of the conversation. We built Brahmin Vivaha to bring that trust back.
What we believe
- The final decision belongs to the person getting married. Families can join, comment and help, but only the member can send or accept an interest.
- Every profile is reviewed by a person. Mobile numbers are confirmed, photos are checked against a live selfie, and government ID is verified when members add it.
- Privacy is the default. Photos, contact details and birth time stay private until both sides say yes.
- Tradition is respected, not imposed. Gotra, nakshatra and horoscope matching are there for families who want them, and optional for those who don't.
Who we serve
Telugu Vaidiki and Niyogi families, along with Smartha, Madhwa, Iyer, Iyengar and other Brahmin communities across India and abroad. Parents and siblings can create a profile on behalf of a family member, with that person's consent.
